Radical Hospitality

Radical hospitality is taking normal Christian hospitality a step farther.  Hospitality is the active desire to invite, welcome, receive, and care for those who are strangers so that they find a spiritual home and discover the love of Christ.  Radical hospitality stretches us, challenges us, and pulls out of us our utmost creativity and hard work to offer the welcome of Christ.  This kind of hospitality describes a genuine love for others.  A love that motivates church members to openness and adaptability, a willingness to change behaviors in order to accommodate the needs, and receive the talents of newcomers.  Radical Hospitality is not merely a committee.  To practice Radical Hospitality is to make a true heart-felt Christian invitation and welcome a vital part of the church.  It is expected of every member and every Sunday school, Bible study, Vine Group, and Choir.

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.  -Hebrews 13:2
